Shift: Must be available to work the following schedule:
Monday, Thursday, Friday 8am-4:30pm
Saturday, and Sunday 7am-3:30pm
|Duties:||Essential Job Functions: |
To schedule, provide customer service and office support and staff development of a non-medical Home Care business.
a. Schedule caregivers regularly and on an ad hoc basis when necessary
b. Utilize communication tools to both track occurrences at various homes and increase information flow between the agency and the caregivers
c. Match clients with the appropriate caregivers
2. Case Coverage
a. Make necessary calls to secure appropriate coverage for call-out situations.
b. Provide coverage when other coverage is unavailable. (possible up to 8 hours)
3. Customer Service
a. Provide customer service through answering the phone and sending out additional information when in the office to interested caregivers and prospective clients.
b. Monitor the calls as they come in by taking new case information and sharing service options with potential clients as well as advice interested potential caregivers to the application process.
c. Triage problem situations calling back-up on-call Supervisor when necessary.
4. On- Call coverage
a. Monitor the calls as they come in.
b. Cover cases as call outs occur (if needed call back up supervisor on call for assistance)
c. Triage problems (call back up supervisor as needed)
d. Take new case information and share service options with potential clients.
5. Staff Development ( As needed by the department)
a. Recruit and Train potential caregivers on a as needed basis
6. Any other tasks as needed by the department
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in Home Care or a related field
Licensure: A valid driverís license
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience in non-medical home care, basic computer skills, ability to read and communicate effectively in a kind and flexible manner.
