Sales Representative

Description:We are seeking an outgoing and compassionate Healthcare Sales Representative to increase outpatient rehab, adult day program and homecare referrals. As a Sales Representative with The Jewish Home you will establish strong working relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, social workers, medical facilities and healthcare decision makers to provide them with ongoing education regarding our community and homecare services. You must be highly motivated and energetic sales professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management skills and priority setting are necessary as you will set up and plan your sales calls. A Bachelor�s degree and healthcare sales or clinical experience is required. The position will require daily travel in Fairfield and New Haven Counties (mileage reimbursed). Hours will vary, approx. 20 hours per week, flexible weekday schedule.

Duties:Contact and visit referral sources, including medical and health care providers, senior citizen support network, families of potential clients for The Jewish Home's community services programs.
� Promotes organizations� services in a professional and creative manner.
� Educate the healthcare community on our services
� Distribute marketing materials to professionals and area healthcare providers
� Advise on the development of new marketing materials needed
� Identify referral doctors and healthcare representatives and other sales targets.
� Develops new customer contacts and business leads and builds upon current relationships.
� Works with Jewish Home staff to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
� Gain knowledge of competitive services and sales.
� Makes and tracks sales call with call log.
� Maintains accurate records on prospective and current referrals.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Arts or Sciences

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in healthcare sales

Licensure: Valid driver�s license

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
� Strong organizational, time management skills and priority setting
� Flexible weekday schedule, approx. 20 hours per week
