| Description: | Summary: Operates a motor vehicle to perform various duties involving the transportation of Residents, Day Care/Child Care participants, materials and equipment for The Jewish Home.
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor, Director of Facility Services

Hours Per Week: Per Diem |
| Duties: | Essential Responsibilities:
1. Transport Residents to hospitals, doctors� offices, special events and other locations as directed.
2. Pick up and deliver mail, materials and equipment throughout the local area; pick up supplies for The Jewish Home from vendors.
3. Run banking errands to make deposits or obtain change as assigned.
4. Detect faulty operation of motor vehicle and notify supervisor of need for service.
5. Observe traffic laws; follow safety regulations.
6. Maintain vehicle and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
7. Other related duties as assigned.

| Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
Licensure: Connecticut PUC license
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines; Ability to read and communicate effectively.
